Many large Saudi companies continue to pour their money into Việt Nam, with an outstanding one being Zamil Steel, which has established itself as a significant player in the Vietnamese steel industry.
The Vietnamese steel industry is expected to face difficulties this year due to an increase in production capacity, falling demand and protectionist measures by countries to reduce imports.
Anti-dumping duties will be levied on imports from Viet Nam and several
other countries after the United States International Trade Committee
(USITC) issued its final decision.
